How much do you charge?

Our pricing is simple: $50 / hour + a travel fee of .50 cent / mile per professional mover. No hidden fees, no nonsense, just a 3 hour minimum on all of our work.

Need a truck? We charge $125 + $1.25 / mile for that

What are all the services you offer?

We offer the following services:

  • Packing / unpacking
  • loading / unloading (including pods)
  • In-home furniture rearrangement
  • Home and office setup
  • Furniture assembly
  • Furniture delivery
  • Home organizing
  • Junk removal / home cleanout
  • Palletizing / sorting warehouse goods (and similar work)

Why the travel fee?

Many of our movers will travel all over the cities to reach your job. As much as we wish teleportation existed, until it does we still have to put gas in our cars and spend an hour driving to your job, and an hour back from it. We try to be fair, and this is a good way for us to compensate our movers for the time they spend driving.

How far do you travel?

We’re willing to travel up to 100 miles out from Saint Paul. Please note that jobs > 50 miles away are subject to a 4 hour minimum.

How many movers should I hire?

As a rule of thumb, if you’re moving from an apartment or a 1 bedroom house, 2 movers will be the best choice. For a 2+ bedroom home (and apartments on the 3rd+ floor with long hallways), we recommend 4 movers. That way, you can get the job done in about half the time, and it ends up being about the same price overall.

How do you protect my furniture?

For most furniture, we will use blankets (which you provide with the truck) to protect it from any damage, and pack things tightly in the truck to prevent shifting during transit. For more valuable pieces, we like to use bubble wrap as well.

Do you do same / next day bookings?

We do indeed. All same / next day bookings are subject to a 10% surcharge.

Why don’t you have any trucks?

We believe in offering great local services, and ensuring that your move is completed with the utmost care. Because of this, we get a lot of bookings in a lot of places around the cities. If we had a truck, we would only be able to help people at one place at one time. By not offering trucks, we’re able to take on more jobs, have a larger workforce, and make sure that our movers get enough time to recover before taking on the next one.

Would you be willing to get a truck for us?

Absolutely. Just know that when we handle the truck rental, our time starts when we arrive at the pickup location, and ends once the truck is dropped off. Any charges are passed on directly to you.

Would you be willing to drive the truck for us?

Absolutely. Please note that you must have insurance on the truck.

Do you do interstate moving?

We do indeed.

Do you do packing as well?

Yes we do, we pack efficiently and can even make an inventory list if you’d like.

Final question: Why should I hire you instead of these other guys who only charge $50 an hour for 4 people and come with the truck?

To put it simply: if it seems too good to be true, it probably is. Anyone can get a box truck and offer to lift things, but there’s a reason most full service companies charge upwards of $2,000 for a move. Moving is taxing on the body, and doing it right takes training. All of our movers are trained in providing the best service possible, and we believe that the higher quality of service more than justifies the higher price point (which is still very reasonable compared to full service moving companies.)
